MIXXI- Shoe Garnish
MIXXI- Shoe Garnish was one of the featured accessories on the Bay area Fashion Week Runway. MIXXI’s are the perfect accessory to complete a look. On the runway the models were styled in all black tanks and shorts, heels and a beautifully colored knitted sweater-shawl from East Meets West in Mountain View. The MIXXI’s did the trick and accented these colorful sweaters which created harmony throughout the entire look. Check Out some of the photos on the runway.
From Me to You- Today is the Last Day to take advantage of their Freinds & Family Discount of 40% OFF!! Get your pair of MIXXI’s now and accessorize your favorite pair of heels, boots, sandals and flats.
Fashion for Charity- BAFW “Thank You”
Bay Area Fashion Week 2011 “Fashion for Charity” was this past Saturday and a success it was. Many guests, the cast and the crew members congratulated myself and the producer Roger Francisco after the show ended around 10:00pm. With a bitter sweet ending to a 3 month production, I am thankful to have gained more knowledge, friendships and determination to take on what is next.
Through this journey I have been blessed to have met so many talented and unique individuals, from designers to models and artists to staff I am truly thankful. I want to send a Thank You to all of the independent designers who participated in the show with their one of a kind designs. To all the Hair Stylists and Makeup Artists who completed the runway look of each of our models. To all of our models for being a part of a charity event and making this entire experience memorable, and of course all of those who volunteered their time in the name of “Fashion 4 Charity”- You have all played a big role in its success, THANK YOU!!

activists in the Bay Area community — Beats for Boobs™ is proud to
present its eighth year of uniting thousands of people in a
collaborative celebration. Beats for Boobs™ is on the case to increase
awareness about prevention and raise funds to support people battling
breast cancer. The assignment for fans and supporters is simple; join
us this October and accept MISSION: POSSIBLE! Since 2003 Beats for
Boobs™ has raised over $110,000, all of which has gone to breast cancer
charities around the Bay Area. A 100% volunteer organization, Beats for
Boobs™ grants financial support to local breast cancer organizations providing direct services to people battling breast cancer, promoting prevention, or offering breast health education. Beats for Boobs™ strives to encourage strength in numbers, volunteerism and philanthropy toward
the breast cancer community. Proceeds from this year’s ticket entrance, merchandise sales, donations, raffle tickets and sponsorships will go towards supporting these San Francisco based organizations:
- BREAST CANCER EMERGENCY FUND www.bcef-sf.org – Breast
Cancer Emergency Fund responds quickly and compassionately to provide
emergency financial assistance to low income women and men of San
Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara Counties who are in active
treatment for breast cancer, in order to cover basic human needs,
lessen financial burdens, and improve quality of life.
- BREAST CANCER FUND – www.breastcancerfund.org Breast
Cancer Fund’s mission is to identify and eliminate the environmental
causes of the disease. Growing scientific evidence shows that the toxic
chemicals and radiation we’re exposed to in our everyday lives
contribute to the high rates of breast cancer. Breast Cancer Fund
translates this science into public education and advocacy campaigns
that empower women to reduce their risk and to take part in big-picture
solutions so that our daughters, granddaughters and planet can thrive.
- SHANTI: LIFELINES BREAST CANCER PROGRAM – www.shanti.org/pages/about-lifelines Shanti’s
Breast Cancer Program is one of San Francisco’s most highly regarded
breast cancer support programs offering free culturally competent care
navigation services, in-home peer support, translation and
transportation assistance and wellness education in Spanish, Cantonese
and English to ensure that low income and under served individuals can
access medical care, complete treatment regimens and enjoy an improved
quality of life with better health outcomes.
