Meet Raihanna Estrada – An upcoming trendy & talented singer – better known as “The California Country Girl”

t.Rose: When did you start singing?

Raihanna: I started singing when I was a little girl. I’m an only child, so I grew up with quite a vivid imagination. I watched musicals like Annie and all the Classic Disney movies and enjoyed singing. I really figured out that I loved it when I was about 10 years old and did Karaoke at this Ranch I grew up on (Ranch at the Lake) in Lake Berryessa. I sang Michael Jackson’s “Human Nature“ and when I stepped off everyone started telling my Mom that I had a great voice.

t.Rose: What motivated you to sing?

Raihanna: I was motivated to sing because I loved songwriting. I loved being able to have people say “This song is totally what I’m going through!” It’s a great feeling because other artists do that for me all the time. A song can really define an important moment for someone.

t.Rose: How does music and singing make you feel?

Raihanna: Singing makes me feel like I’m making a difference. It is a feeling of pure happiness. I feel connected, in my element, and at home on stage.

Raihanna: My genre is Pop/Country. Country has always been my main music source. I love the way the artists can really tell a deep, heart-felt story and then the next song will be a heel stompin’ good time. They know how it’s done.

t.Rose: Do you write your lyrics? Where do you get your inspiration?

Raihanna: I write all of my own lyrics. What I say in a song is very important to me. A lot of my lyrics come from conversations with friends and what they are going through. Others come from my life experiences. Inspiration really can hit as if from nowhere, depends on the day/mood.

t.Rose: What are some of your projects and events for us to look out for?

Raihanna: I am taking a 3 weeks trip to Sweden to experience my very FIRST winter wonderland season where I will be writing new material/recording with some talented Swedish musicians. When I return to the US, I will be doing the finishing touches and possibly adding a few new songs to my EP and getting it mixed & mastered. Can’t wait for you all to hear it!
